Delivery & Engagement

Cohorts, timetables and a waitlist that moves

A time-boxed group moving through a course together: members, a timetable, a seat limit, and a waitlist that promotes somebody when a seat opens.

What it does

Batches and members

With a transfer that moves a learner without losing their progress.

Timetables

What happens when, visible to everybody who needs it.

Waitlists

A seat opens, somebody is promoted, and both of them are told.

Invite codes

For the cohort that arrives all at once.

A guardian view

A parent sees their own children’s courses and marks, read-only by construction.

How it actually works

A seat limit that refuses out loud

Enrolling past a plan’s seat quota fails with a message naming the limit, rather than succeeding quietly and reconciling later. The same refusal reaches the counsellor converting an application — which is why converting is two acts.

The permission keys it adds

A sample. Each is a real key in the catalogue, described for a school administrator rather than an engineer.

Who holds it

  • Institute Admin
  • Teacher
  • Parent

The shipped role templates that hold it by default. Each is a copy you own and can edit — nothing in the code reads a role's name.

And what it does not

Naming these here is cheaper for both of us than discovering them in week six of a pilot.

What this does not do yet

A hundred seats, twenty-five courses and no conversation. If you would rather see it driven by someone who knows it, that takes twenty minutes.
