Money & People

Fees, invoices, staff, leave, placement, interviews.

4 modules · 77 API routes · one tenant boundary

Two colleagues reviewing printed documents with a calculator in an office.

An invoice line copies its description at issue

It does not read through to the course. Rename a course next term and last year’s invoice still says what was sold. Certificate wording and application details follow the same rule: a document that re-renders itself from live data quietly rewrites history.

People are added by invitation only. There is no route where an administrator sets somebody else’s password. Demo institute — the people and the institute are the product’s own seed data.

What is in it

Fees & finance

62% — in progress, see build status

Fee management for an institute: plans, invoices, tax, coupons, scholarships, payments and credit notes — every amount an integer in minor units.

Staff & HR

55% — in progress, see build status

Staff profiles, leave types and balances, requests and approvals, the staff register, and holidays.

Placement & interviews

60% — in progress, see build status

Placement drives, openings, applications, interview panels and scorecards — with a practice interview the learner runs on their own first.

What this does not do yet

Naming these is cheaper for both of us than discovering them in week six.

  • A payment-gateway adapter — you can raise and reconcile an invoice, not take a card
  • Dunning
  • Multi-currency conversion
  • Payroll processing
  • Statutory filing — deliberately, and permanently
  • A recruiter portal
